Opening a Door to Education: SFA Supports Nabankema Kisakye's School Fees
22 May 2026 | Nkambo Village, Ndejje, Luwero District. Space For All Foundation supported Nabankema Kisakye's continued education by paying her school fees directly to Kingstone College of Practice after a family and community referral.
Responding to a Call for Educational Support
Space For All Foundation responded to a request for support concerning Nabankema Kisakye, a young girl from Nkambo Village in Ndejje, Luwero District, who had completed Primary Seven but was unable to continue her education due to financial constraints. Nabankema is being raised by a single mother who had exhausted available options for supporting her daughter's education. Her situation reflected the reality faced by many vulnerable families, where a lack of school fees can interrupt a child's learning journey and limit future opportunities.
A Community Referral
The request reached Space For All Foundation through a Good Samaritan from the community who was acquainted with the Foundation's Founder. The connection came at a meaningful moment, as the Founder had been praying for an opportunity to support a child's education.
Visiting, Listening, and Acting With Care
On 22 May 2026, a team of four representatives from Space For All Foundation travelled to Nkambo Village to meet Nabankema and her family. The team was received and guided by the Good Samaritan who had connected the beneficiary to the Foundation. During the visit, SFA representatives met Nabankema's mother, listened to the family's story, and gained a deeper understanding of the challenges affecting the household.
Consent and Accountability
Before taking any photographs or videos, the Foundation sought consent from the family for accountability and reporting purposes. Consent was granted. This approach reflected SFA's commitment to careful storytelling, respectful documentation, and protecting beneficiary dignity while reporting on public-interest work.
Direct Support for Continued Learning
Following the home visit, the SFA team proceeded with Nabankema to Kingstone College of Practice, a technical institute where arrangements had been made for her enrollment. Space For All Foundation paid the required tuition fees directly to the institution and obtained an official receipt as proof of payment. This direct payment approach reflected the Foundation's commitment to accountability, transparency, and ensuring that support reaches the intended purpose.
Education as Economic Empowerment
The activity enabled Nabankema to continue her education and begin a pathway toward skills training, personal development, and improved future prospects. For Space For All Foundation, education support is not only about school fees. It is also about dignity, opportunity, and long-term empowerment.
Our Commitment
By supporting Nabankema's continued learning, the Foundation helped remove an immediate barrier standing between a young girl and her future. Space For All Foundation remains committed to supporting vulnerable individuals and families through initiatives that promote education, empowerment, inclusion, and sustainable community development.
